MEMBERSHIP DETAILS
Membership dues are $10 for everyone.
Dues are not refundable.

SOME OF OUR ACHIEVEMENTS
• Had decorative lighting, attractive brickwork, and street trees installed on Portion Road.
• Worked with the town to redesign and beautify Michael Murphy Beach.
• Coordinated the purchase and beautification of Arrowhead Park at Church Street and Pond Road.
• Collaborated closely with the Town of Brookhaven Planning Department and Tritec to craft the area around the Ronkonkoma railroad station.
• Created the Portion Road Corridor Land Use Plan using community input to revitalize our downtown at both Hawkins Avenue and Morris Avenue to make our town pedestrian friendly, increase local business, preserve historic structures, and establish architectural design guidelines.
• Helped organize Neighborhood Watches.
• Worked to have the lake designated as a New York State Inland Waterway, worked with local municipalities to create a Lake Ronkonkoma Watershed Intermunicipal Organization, created a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, the Ronkonkoma Lake Foundation, to apply for grant funds and receive donations for lakefront management and for educational and environmental programs.
• Participate in the Keep Brookhaven Beautiful campaign every spring.
• Host a monthly litter cleanup along Portion Road.
• Invite local government representatives to update you on local issues and answer your questions.
• Appear at Town, Planning, and Zoning Board hearings to speak for the best interests of our community.
