Portion Road Visioning

The long-awaited Portion Road Visioning was held
October 22 – 25, 2004, at the Sachem Public Library.
Residents and business owners concerned about the
future of Portion Road participated in the event.
They worked together to develop a “vision” of what
the corridor could look like from Lake Ronkonkoma to
Farmingville. It was easily the most amazing
community event to ever occur in this area.
